Introduction
What Is TBarCode SDK?
TBarCode SDK is a set of professional tools for generating barcodes. It supports more than 100 symbologies, including linear, two-dimensional, and stacked barcode variants, and can print barcodes or export them as graphics in high resolution and quality.
The TBarCode SDK setup includes the following components:

TBarCode SDK is available for Windows, Linux, macOS, and UNIX. It includes native TBarCode libraries and command-line tools. Spool-filter scripts are available only on supported non-Windows platforms.
What Is TBarCode Library?
TBarCode Library is the native barcode-generation library at the core of the TBarCode product family. Software developers can integrate it into custom applications on:
- 32-bit and 64-bit Microsoft Windows platforms; and
- Linux, macOS, and UNIX platforms.
The TBarCode SDK setup for Windows includes TBarCode Library as a dynamically linked library. A static library is available on request. The Windows library is commonly called TBarCode DLL; the UNIX library is commonly called LibTBarCode.
Scope of This Document
This manual explains how to use TBarCode Library in an application. The complete API is documented in the TBarCode Library Developer Reference.
Restrictions of the Demo Version
Without a valid license, TBarCode Library marks generated barcodes with the word “Demo,” the text “www.tec-it.com,” or an additional horizontal bar for PostScript or PCL output. These markers are intended to identify demo output and normally do not prevent a scanner from reading the symbol.
For evaluation cases in which a demo marker would interfere with the test, request a temporary license from TEC-IT Support. To remove the demo restrictions permanently, purchase a suitable license through the TEC-IT order page. See How to License TBarCode SDK.
