TBarCode Library is a software component, not a standalone executable. Use the installed samples together with this manual to integrate it into an application.

TBarCode Library Files

The TBarCode SDK setup installs both runtime libraries:

• TBarCode11.dll for 32-bit applications
• TBarCode11_x64.dll for 64-bit applications

The setup stores the runtime libraries below:

• 64-bit: C:\Program Files\Common Files\TEC-IT\TBarCode\11.17
• 32-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\TEC-IT\TBarCode\11.17

Use the runtime library that matches the application's process architecture. It must be in the same directory as the application or in a directory on the PATH.

Optional Compression Support

zlib1.dll is required only when barcode data compression is enabled. Compression is disabled by default, and TBarCode Library works without zlib1.dll when compression is not used.

Headers and Import Libraries

By default, the setup installs the development files below C:\Program Files\TEC-IT\TBarCode11:

• Include contains tbarcode.h and tecbcenum.h.
• Lib contains TBarCode11.lib for 32-bit applications and TBarCode11_x64.lib for 64-bit applications.

Include tbarcode.h to access the DLL API:

#include "tbarcode.h" // Automatically includes tecbcenum.h.

Link x86 applications with TBarCode11.lib and x64 applications with TBarCode11_x64.lib.

The SDK samples provide additional examples for different programming environments.
