| Name | Value and description |

Auto | Auto discriminate : The format is chosen based on the data. If the data starts with 2 digits, barcode has GS1 format, otherwise generic format is used.

Generic | Generic mode : The symbol contains a generic data format. This format adds the function character FNC1 at 1st position in the symbol if it starts with 2 digits otherwise the data is encoded as it is.

Gs1 | GS1 mode : Special format defined GS1 for encoding Application Identifiers. |
Industry | Industry mode: supports peculiar industry formats (adds FNC1 at 2nd position) |
Macro05 | Macro 05 mode: [)>Rs05Gs is encoded at the beginning of the code. |
Macro06 | Macro 06 mode: [)>Rs06Gs is encoded at the beginning of the code. |
Macro12 | Macro 12 mode: [)>Rs12Gs is encoded at the beginning of the code. |
