Native C API Reference

Use the native C API from C or C++. Functions are grouped by task; Windows and Unix declarations share a page where applicable.

Function groups

• General — General functions which are mandatory for most applications.

• Printing and Output — Select output settings and generate output from a stand-alone or Repository based FormLayout.

• Provide Data — Supply records from application code, import data, or use a data source defined in the layout.

• Error-Handling — Retrieve error information.

• Repository Access — Access and modify Repositories or stand-alone FormLayouts.

• ZIP and BASE64 Handling — Helper functions for explicitly decoding BASE64 input and extracting ZIP archives.
